Who are we?

The group Aftertreatment & Combustion OBD is responsible for OBD (On-board Diagnostics) monitors for misfire, catalysts, SCR, NOx absorber, DPF / GPF for both petrol and diesel engines. Our deliveries cover the whole development chain: From creating monitoring concepts, creating engine software functions, calibration and validation, to full legal compliance and following up the field status from customers' cars.

What do we offer?

With us, you will work in an agile team together with skilled colleagues having similar responsibilities. You will through continuous exchange of ideas, develop robust control and monitoring functionality. Your new concepts and vehicle applications are easily tested in simulations and in test cars on the road, lab and on test tracks. You will verify system robustness by participating on expeditions (test trips) around the world to find the toughest environments to stress the systems.

What you will do

You will take on the responsibility for calibration/optimization of diagnostic functions, and develop concepts for monitoring and control software for hybrid and conventional propulsion applications. A key activity will be investigating system behavior dependencies, including statistical analysis of big amounts of measurement data. It will be your responsibility to set the vision and plan activities to meet program milestones.

You and your skills

* We are looking for you who have B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanics, Computer science or equivalent with several years of relevant working experience in the automotive industry.

* You have a genuine interest in cars, propulsion and high performing engines with clean emissions. Further, you are not afraid of taking on practical engineering experimental tasks.

* Working together with people requires you to have perfect communication skills and that you are fluent in English. Driving license "B", valid in Sweden, is required.

* Having experience from working with requirements towards SW suppliers, emission and OBD legal requirements are meritorious. As are experience in programming and simulation, data measurement, analysis and statistics, and verification.

* It is a merit if you have experience from working in agile environment and you are SAFe educated, as we are in a transformation journey towards agile way of working.

You have the ability to work effectively as part of an engineering team and are a good team player.
