Engine control group responsible for Start and Emission Control Petrol & Hybrid Engines need to strengthen our team. With us, you will get advanced engineering tasks that challenge you to continue your technical and personal development. You will be a part of an agile team since we are in a transition to agile working principals.
What you'll do
As an Optimization Engineer, every day is different challenge! You have the ability to plan your work individually and the variety of different work tasks can be in car testing, engine rig testing, emission result evaluation, advance data analysis etc. You will also take part in excursion for climate testing. You will be part of a diverse team, with a high interest in technology development and working in a creative environment. Your daily work tasks will include:
* Optimization of engine properties to meet emission and/or start requirements
* Work with model-based approach and use simulation tools to develop calibration.
* Contribute to technical improvements in the control software
* Perform tests in engine test beds as well as in vehicle
* Analyse and conclude test results
Do you fit the profile?
In order to succeed in this role, we want you to have a technical university degree or equivalent experience within the engine control area. You have driver's licence B and have the possibility to travel during excursion period. It's an advantage if you have experience from the software tools INCA, Matlab, Python or Simulink, as well as previous experience from modelling and/or simulations. It is also great if you have worked with agile working principals before.
On a personal level, we believe that you are structured with an analytical mindset and like to take initiatives. To be able to enjoy the position, it is important that you are curious, open-minded and a great teamplayer.
