Engine control group, responsible for Start and Emission, Control Petrol & PHEV Engines needs to strengthen the team. With us, you will get advanced engineering tasks that challenge you to continue your technical and personal development.

What's in it for you?

As an Optimisation Engineer, every day is a different challenge! You have the ability to plan your work individually and the variety of work tasks include car testing, engine rig testing, emission result evaluation, advance data analysis etc. You will also take part in excursions for climate testing. In this position you are part of a diverse team, with a high interest in technology development, working in a creative environment. The network and skills you gain in this role will be of good use for further assignments.

What you'll do
* Optimisation of engine properties to meet emission and/or start requirements.
* Work with model-based approach and use simulation tools to develop calibration.
* Contribute to technical improvements in the control software.
* Perform tests in engine test beds as well as in vehicle.
* Analyse and conclude test results.

Do you fit the profile?
* Technical university or equivalent experience within the engine control area.
* Driving License B.
* Experience from the software tools INCA, Matlab/Python and Simulink is meritorious.
* Previous experience from modelling or/and simulations will be an asset.
* Possibility to travel during excursion period.
You are a structured person with an analytical mindset who like to take initiatives. It is also important that you are curious, open-minded and a great team player.
