Job Description:
The GFI Sub Programme is responsible for coordinating sourcing of new data into the Nordea common datawarehouse (CDW) and for designing, implementing, testing and deploying data out solutions for Treasury, Credit and Captial risk reporting from CDW. CDW is based on Teradata and the FS-LDM data model.
This assignment will work across projects in managing the architectural stream for each initative. For each project, the architect is responsible for analyzing, detailing and presenting architectural solution options for a diverse set of requirements in a complex environment. The Architect will own the overall solution architecture for all projects within the program, detailing architectural solutions, aligning with the overall architecture, and ensuring approval from the overall architectural forums for the defined solution. It is important to be able to proactively drive the architecture work for the projects, coordinating and aligning with all stakeholders within both business and IT.
The Architect will work closely with both IT and business resources from both source systems and comsuming systems as well as business analysts, other architects, developers, testers and other IT analysts.
Skills:
• The (large and complex) IT environment and the scale of the organisation, implies a high degree of complexity and experience of working in such environments is needed
• The Architect must be able to drive the architectural work stream independently and with a proactive mindset to ensure progress and need to be able to coordinate a large number of different stakeholders during defining and agreeing on the architectural requirements and solutions
• Experience of working as an architect within Teradata data warehouse solutions is required
• Data modelling experience is required
• Functional experience in Treasury, Credit and Capital Risk reporting is preferred
• Working in multi-vendor environments including offshore teams is preferred
