CellaVision is looking for an Operative Purchaser to join our Supply & Sourcing team in Lund. As an Operative Purchaser you will be responsible for managing centralized purchasing in close collaboration with domestic and foreign suppliers, as well as numerous internal contacts within the company.
This role includes the following tasks:
• Manage purchase orders for especially indirect purchasing and prototype manufacturing.
• Participate in development projects and support activities for the purchasing process.
• Participate in logistics work for manufacturing planning, reporting and preparation in Jeeves.
• Maintenance of ERP-system with focus on purchase and supplier data.
• Support strategic purchasing in:
• Cost-reducing activities related to components and systems - Develop and implement purchasing strategies - Negotiation and written agreements, framework agreements & project purchases
• Evaluation and qualification of suppliers and manufacturers
• Second sourcing
• Last-time-buy management
• Manage supplier declarations
• Participate in deviation management and reclaims.
You will report to VP Supply & Sourcing and travel a maximum of 10 days/year.
To be successful in this role you need to have
• Experience working in similar tasks, preferably with both national & international purchasing.
• Good understanding of purchase and inventory impacts on the overall corporate economy.
• Good technical understanding in areas as mechanics and electronics.
• Experience in ERP-system, preferably Jeeves.
• Good knowledge of handling inventory control parameters.
• Degree in supply chain, purchasing, economics or technology, or equivalent combination of experience.
• Good knowledge in English and ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
• Microsoft Office skills.
