Now we are looking for an Operative Purchaser to join the Konecranes family.

Right now we are looking for a committed and driven employee for our operative purchasing.
There you will be part of a team that is responsible for operative purchasing against our suppliers.
This role will be divided between daily purchasing and project purchasing.
The work involves collaborating with internal employees in various departments and externally with our suppliers. The role is placed in Markaryd but you will also collaborate with our unit in Shanghai, China.
Your new challenge:
• You will work with analyzing our needs and place Purchase orders in our ERP (SAP)
• Quotation requests
• Prepare and execute forecasts and delivery plans
• Delivery monitoring
• Daily communication with suppliers
• Update and maintain the Master data
• Be active in the development of routines within the department
• Drive or participate in various improvement and efficiency projects
• Travel nationally and internationally may occur
Your background
• Technical or economic education at least upper secondary level
• Product knowledge and/or experience from similar work is a merit
• Collaborative (teamwork)
• Communicative
• Experience from working in MPS environment (SAP is a merit) and MS Office (Excel)
• Administrative characteristics, meticulous
• Good language skills in English language skills, additional language skills are meritorious
• IT skills in logistics
