hela Sverige Are you the Operations Technician that will take on the role in developing and maintaining Qmatics new cloud initiative?
Qmatics new managed service- and cloud offering is expanding, and as part of this we are also transforming our way of working and are now aiming to implement true DevOps in our global operation team, in close collaboration with our agile development teams.
In this position you will have an operational role and drive the cloud operating center and DevOps toolchain. The DevOps team's task is to operate our hosted applications and cloud services, define processes and set up tools to support the development teams so they can work true DevOps.
What you will do
Manage new implementations / rollouts / deployments
Automation of common tasks
Together with the development and test/QA team continuously develop the platform and the DevOps processes
Closely follow the technology trends in this space to ensure that Qmatic is on the forefront of using technology to fit our customer's needs.
Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in this position we believe that you:
Have a technical education (a bachelor's degree in computer science or similar, but not a requirement).
Have 3-5 years of experience within IT operations
Possess good all-around knowledge of Linux.
Have basic knowledge in networks, security and IT infrastructure.
Communicate well in Swedish and English.
Desirable optional skills:
Databases (Postgres, MySQL, MSSQL)
Monitoring software (APMs like AppDynamics, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, New Relic)
Cloud computing platforms (preferably AWS)
Knowledge in Bash/Python/JavaScript
Basic knowledge in virtualization technology
