Do you want to contribute to a new level of operations for Scania Connected Services?

Our department Connected Services is hiring an Operations Service Manager. By being a central part of our new operations team we will together make sure our services are up and running as well as build and improve our supporting processes.

Our vision is to develop a 24/7 operations team for our cloud-based environments and the new team "Technical Operations Centre" will continuously improve observability and do the daily operations of our connected systems.

What will you do?

Together with the team you will build, own, and improve our processes to ensure efficient day-to-day operation with adherence to; Incident, Problem, and Change Management within timeframes.

As an Operation Service Manager, you will also work operational, leading incidents and investigations of root causes, and hosting retrospective meetings/lessons learned.

You will work closely with the management team to increase the culture around the operational tasks and define Key Performance Indicator metrics and improve uptime, quality, and customer trust.

Who you are

We expect you to have a broad understanding of current technologies, across multiple platforms but most important to have AWS knowledge since all our development are cloud-based.

You should have experience from working within an IT support organization and ITIL processes. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, or as an Incident Manager, or Change Manager.

As a person, you should enjoy working in a team-oriented environment. You can stay focused when working under pressure and feel confident taking the important decision not always without discussion.

You have good communication skills since you will report to the organization both in text and verbally.
