Operations Officer Responsibilities is to serve the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by coordinating all operations of the hotel. Within this, a principal responsibility is the accurate and timely completion of the night audit function for Night Managers.
The need for a strong and experienced hotel ambassador is particularly important during the night hours. Guests are likely to be tired and impatient, and less reasonable or patient than normal. This is a key role in the operation of the hotel.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To be the main point of guest contact 24 hours.
• Monitor all night arrivals, ensuring all requests are carried out smoothly. Ensure all reservations are honoured, or dealt with as quickly and smoothly as possible. Deal with VIP room inspections/arrivals/departures.
• Ensure all issues pertaining to guest satisfaction are met and that follow up is completed on a timely basis.
• Complete the night audit in line with the standards and procedures of the resort for night manager.
• Submit housekeeping and cleaning requests as required.
• Ensure all associates are up to date with current facts of the hotel products and services including room types, rates, relatives and facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa and health club.
• Attend training sessions as required.

• Multiple years of experience in a similar position
• Relevant knowledge of Word and Excel

• Enjoy working in a team to achieve common goals
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
• Good written and spoken skills fluent in English and other languages is highly valued
