In the role of LEAD Sweden Subsidiary Operations Manager, you will be responsible for building up the Operations team, which includes leading a team and supervising the development of the Swedish Subsidiary company. The overarching goal is to implement processes and systems while managing the daily and ongoing work. You hold a central role within the company with a focus on both development and administrative work.
You will provide support to the operation function by questioning, leading, challenging, and being responsible for a wide range of tasks, and other ad-hoc related tasks. The Operations unit will be the first point of contact for managers and employees when it comes to HR administration/supply chain, Oversea Admin questions. As you will be working a lot with colleagues in the other Europe countries and HQ colleagues as well as responsible for operationally leading people in the Swedish subsidiary office.
This is a newly established role so you will be given the exciting opportunity to build the foundation of the team. You will be reporting to the Oversea Operation director and LEAD Sweden subsidiary General Manager and be part of the management group.
The work will be based at Västerås.
Overall key responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and review operational processes and procedures to support strategic objectives.
Strategic planning and review: Coordinate the strategic planning, set goals and corresponding metrics as well as building business reviews and follow-ups.
Assist in oversight of budgeting, reporting, planning, for the organization.
Process improvement and project management: Lead and support in selected key projects and drive process improvements for key functions to improve quality and efficiency.
Participate in planning and launching new programs with the goal of ensuring operational sustainability.
Be responsible for ensuring our operations remain compliant with local laws.
Responsible for labor relations matters within area of responsibility
Motivating, coaching and developing team capabilities
What We Expect of You
We believe that you are a committed person who thrives in an innovative, fast-paced, cross-functional work environment and you have a relevant Operations Management experience:
Your background:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or Engineering.
Knowledge of Labor relations, in-depth knowledge of Swedish labor law.
You have a proven leadership record; you act as a role model and present an authentic and trustworthy leadership style.
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
You are confident in working independently, taking decisions and push initiatives by yourself.
You are a team player, thrive in an environment with multiple stakeholders and have a proven record of reaching agreements with different stakeholders; organizationally, with leaders, employees, unions, and other key parties.
Fluency in Chinese, English and Swedish
