Why We Started Urban Oasis
For years Sweden has been importing 70% of it's food. This is not only bad for the planet but also means our greens and vegetables lack taste and freshness, especially in winter. It doesn't have to be this way anymore.
At Urban Oasis, we grow all year round without soil in empty underground locations using a technology called hydroponics. We are also partnering with restaurants, hotels and retailers across Stockholm to explore how we can build indoor farms together and kickstart a sustainable food revolution across Stockholm and beyond. We are not interested in becoming just another eco-product. We started Urban Oasis to change the food system for the better, and every product we sell takes us closer to this mission.
