The position
As Operations Manager you will have commercial and operational responsibility to manage the business and ensure the highest customer satisfaction in line with company priniples.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and coach a team of 6-10 people
• Develop and implement processes and routines
• Monitor, develop, improve and report KPI's internally and externally
• Educate, train and support existing and new staff
• Participate in sales and development activities
The candidate
The person applying for this job must have a minimum of 5 years of past experience from freight forwarding.
Further qualifications can be summarized as:
• Demonstrated management skills
• Confidence in making decisions and delegate properly
• Always have a pro-active approach in order to develop and improve process- and working routines
• Customer focused with emphasis on service
• Good understanding of KPI reporting and development
• Fluent, both written and spoken in English plus any other scandinavian language
• Good command of MS Office and generally good IT skills
