Hacksaw Studios is a Stockholm-based game studio focused on creating innovative, high-quality gaming experiences. We have wide distribution, and our games are played by millions of people every month by players all over the world.
We are now looking to strengthen our operations function with an Operations Manager who will work directly with our Head of Operations and our production team leads. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants responsibility, influence, and real operational impact.
The Role
As Operations Manager, you will be a core driver of how the studio operates. You will work closely with the Head of Operations, taking ownership of initiatives, improving efficiency across teams, and ensuring follow-through where it matters.
You will work closely with production leads and commercial operations, coordinating priorities, running internal projects, and turning complexity into clear execution. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience in a high-pace, high-expectation environment (for example management consulting, strategy, operations, or similar) who is eager to take real ownership inside an operating organization.
Your Key Responsibilities Include
Driving operational efficiency by identifying problems, designing solutions, and ensuring execution.
Running internal operational projects end-to-end, from problem definition to delivery.
Supporting production team leads with coordination, planning, and structured follow-up.
Acting as a primary operational contact towards commercial operations.
Building and maintaining structure through documentation, routines, reporting, and administrative processes.
Preparing analyses, decision material, and presentations for management and operational forums.
Tracking initiatives, commitments, and action points to ensure progress and accountability.
Continuously improving tools, processes, and ways of working across the studio.
What We're Looking For
2-3 years of experience from a high-performance environment (e.g. management consulting, operations, strategy, project management).
Exceptionally sharp, analytical, and fast to grasp complex situations.
Highly independent and proactive, you see what needs to be done and do it.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
High energy, high standards, and a strong sense of ownership.
Nice-to-Have
Experience from tech, gaming, or other product-driven organizations.
Strong Excel / Google Sheets and presentation skills.
Interest in scaling organizations and improving operational systems.
