As Operations Manager, your main goals are to ensure out-put to achieve on-time delivery to customers against agreed schedule dates and deadlines. Your responsibilities will be achievement of both Production 's, logistic and Operations KPI 's including delivery, cost, quality, safety and inventory. Furthermore, you have a responsibility to plan, develop, organize and co-ordinate the production team 's activities, in order to maximize production, within a safe, efficient and effective working environment.
You will be responsible for a team of around 40 employees, white collar and blue collar and you will report directly to Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Ensuring out-put to achieve on-time delivery to customers against agreed schedule dates and deadlines
Achievement of both Production's and Operations KPI's including delivery, cost, quality, safety and inventory
Manage manpower resources, train and develop employees to achieve their full potential
Manage Health, Safety and Environmental activities to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements
Promote and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
At east 5 years proven experience in a manufacturing environment where experience from the automotive industry is an advantage
You are a leader with passion for people
As a person, you are goal and result oriented, with a high level of engagement and a strong enthusiasm
You possess great communication skills, and you are fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
You have experience from union consultations and knowledge about Swedish health and safety legislation
