Hem is currently looking for an Operations / Logistics Manager to become part of our management team in Stockholm. You will be provide end-to-end logistics strategy and organise service for Hem B2C and B2B clients globally. This full time position will report to the CEO and is based In Stockholm Sweden.
As operations manager you will be responsible for:
• Global operations including oversight of our warehouses, logistics carriers and customer service teams
• Working with developers to gather estimates, create project milestones, and ensure deadlines are met
• Hiring and training new customer service team in Stockholm
• Setting up new logistics processes together with the management team
Daily reporting of overall delivery and customer service metrics
• Degree (Bachelors or superior) in one or more of the following disciples:
• Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Business, Commerce
• Fluent in English, other language skills are highly meriting, especially
• Polish and other scandinavian languages - Experience from working in a virtual environment
• Proven track record in a similar Logistics / Supply Chain management role
• Have a minimum of 5 years experience in people management - Strong business acumen - Command of ERP systems and Excel
• You are a proactive, result driven professional who enjoys working in a team based environment with the ability to influence key stakeholders
• Experience with logistics, bookkeeping and/or data entry
• Experience in retail and e-commerce
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• You are a "doer" and don't mind getting your hands dirty in a highly entrepreneurial environment
• Highly driven, have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, with good leadership and people management skills
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
