hela Sverige HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures, and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.
HVDC Construction & Commissioning is now looking for an Operations Leader to join the Site Management team in Ludvika, Sweden. In this role, you will be the driver of the operational work of the department and C&C organization. This position also offers you an opportunity to be part of a global and international team. Your Responsibilities
Drive, from inception to completion, internal projects, initiatives, studies, analysis and diverse tasks that are required to ensure the operational and functional deliverables of the department.
Create, maintain, and adapt or modify all processes related to the Site Management discipline.
Drive the understanding, mitigation and/or resolution of critical issues related to the Site Management discipline, and ensure the distribution of knowledge among the Site Management population.
Identify and/or drive continuous improvement processes, new initiatives, and quality improvement items, and ensure the proper distribution of applicable Lessons Learned
Connect and interface with other departments in relation to interactions/collaborations required for the performance of Site Management tasks and the alignment of processes.
Define and/or organize new trainings and courses that further the Site Management discipline and improves the abilities and aptitudes of the team.
Guide new Site Managers into the ways and methods of the HVDC Site Management discipline.
Attend and represent Site Management in discussion forums representing the Site Management discipline.
Your Background
Good project management skills, with good ability to prioritize, structure, and organize
Good communicator and facilitator that enjoys networking
Proactive and energetic in the way you deal with problems and see improvement opportunities
Task driven and goal oriented, handling issues with a resourceful and resilient attitude
Previous experience working on an HVDC Construction site, knowledge and/or understanding of HVDC processes, systems, products and/or services is a plus
University degree is an added advantage, but not a requirement
