Volvo Group Operations Graduate Program
If you are up for the challenge of developing the next generation of production plants and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!

During 15 intense and exciting months, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group's global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end to end supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations.
In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several "on-the-job" rotations and have the opportunity to work on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.

Our organization:
At the Group Trucks Operation Plant in Skövde we manufacture heavy duty engines for all Volvo Group applications. Guided by the Continuous Improvement, the engine plant provides a modern, quiet and pleasant working environment. Customer Satisfaction is our priority, and we aim at being a key player in the Volvo Group. We have great train connections with Gothenburg, Its about 1 hour ride.

This is us, your new team:
Our team consist of specialists in the areas of Environment, Health and Safety and Security, The environmental team has two experienced engineers in Environment and one Environment specialist and our mission is to support the organization with competence and methods in a sustainability way of working.

Main activities and responsibilities:
In this role, one of your main tasks is to support the plant/organization with the Volvo Production System culture and be the expert, support and train in specific environmental tasks. You will also analyse, follow and present environmental results to the company and to authorities.
Furthermore, you will participate in projects and investigations as an advisor and help the organization with advanced problem solving as well as having contact with authorities, internal and external stakeholders as different levels in Volvo, Länsstyrelsen (County Administrative Board) and others.

Who are you?
To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• BSc or MSc in engineering science, preferably specialized in the environmental area
• Good knowledge in chemical and energy technics
• Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation.
• Professional Swedish and good knowledge in English
• To be a communicative team player and enjoy to train and support in knowledge
• Eager to develop both yourself and the business that you are working in
• Interest in laws and regulations and coming demands in environmental area
• Have a customer focus, integrity and a holistic view
• A valid work permit

Volvo Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group's engines and transmissions, as well as all production of Volvo, Renault and Mack trucks. The organization is responsible for spare parts supplies to the Group 's customers as well as for designing, operating and optimizing logistics and supply chain for all brands, production facilities and distribution centers where the Volvo Group operates.
