Operations Engineer at Saltside
We are looking for a person to help maintain our development and production systems. We love automation and monitoring, and you will be responsible for automating everything that can be automated.

This is a full time position based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Here at Saltside you will:
• write code that automates all aspects of our develop and production environment.
• design and maintain a robust, highly scalable infrastructure.
• work closely with application developers to provide high availability services.
• monitor and maintain our systems.
• be our release engineer and mange deploy workflow from development to production.
• participate in on call rotation.
• design and build tools to maintain systems and tools that make life happier for our developers.
• be responsible for site availability and system security.
• train our robot in system maintenance and deployment.
You are probably the perfect Operations Engineer for us if you:
• have expert-level Linux system administration skills. Debian flavor preferred.
• have long experience managing large scale public web sites.
• love automation and to have the machines work for you.
• have experience using Chef for automation.
• like to use Ruby for your day to day scripting need.
• have experience with hosted, cloud-based services.
• have great networking and security skills. White hats preferred.
• want to be best friends with our robot.
