Do you have experience from a senior operations role and want to be part of a successful global company, driving change and making a difference in everyday lives? We are now looking for an Operations Director, with prior knowledge within manufacturing, to join Lantmännen Unibake Sweden. This is what you will do
As Operations Director for Unibake Sweden you will have a central position in the very heart of our company, the operations. You will lead an organization of approximately 250 dedicated employees (including both blue- and white-collar staff) spread across four locations: three bakeries in Örebro, Mantorp and Huddinge as well as our office in Stockholm.
You will be responsible for Unibake Sweden's operations, consisting of production, maintenance, continuous improvement (CI), quality, supply chain and procurement. Together you will ensure seamless production and delivery of our high-quality products. You will have managerial responsibility for 8-10 direct-reporting managers and work closely with them to drive performance and continuous improvements, motivating and inspiring the team towards operational excellence. You will also work cross-functionally with commercial teams, HR, finance, and Unibake's global organization, ensuring that day-to-day operations contribute to achieving business objectives.
As a member of the Swedish management team, you are expected to drive and develop the implementation of the strategy in Swedish operations, ensuring alignment and compliance with global Unibake standards. For this position you could be located at the Lantmännen head office in Stockholm or at our office and production site in Örebro. Regular travel to our bakeries, the Stockholm office, and Unibake's global headquarter in Copenhagen will be required. You will report to the Managing Director of Unibake Sweden.
This is what you need to succeed:
You have
- Extensive experience from a similar role as Operations Director or a senior management position within operations in an organization with multiple production sites. Preferably from an international group where you are used to take both local and group perspective into consideration.
- Experience from leading, empowering and developing other managers and driving change in a larger organization.
- Solid knowledge from production and optimizing cost efficiency in a manufacturing set-up.
- An academic degree within engineering, supply chain or similar.
- Strong communication skills, written and spoken, in both Swedish and English.
