The organization
Do you want to lead and develop operational strategies as well as drive high profile projects in a global company? Husqvarna Group are now looking for an Operations Development Manager to be a part of a senior team that supports and develops operations within the Husqvarna division; business unit Residential EPAC. Residential EPAC focuses primarily on urban/suburban customers as well as landowners and we are currently on an exciting electrification journey with innovative products in all segments.

In this role you will work alongside an experienced team of three people to optimize and develop the operational strategies within residential EPAC. You'll lead and collaborate on challenging projects in an international setting. We offer you a holistic development manager role where you will govern improvement projects from idea and investigation to implementation of your work. You will be a part of our Logistics & Operational Excellence team and you will report to the director of operations development. The role is located in Huskvarna.
About you
To succeed in this position you have a high drive to improve and develop operations. You have excellent analytical skills and like to work systematically, with patience in the investigation of operational development projects. You have an ability to plan and organize your work whilst performing in a fast-paced environment. Suitable background would be management or complex project management within engineering/ production/ industrialization/investments or sourcing and an academical education in engineering, manufacturing, logistics or similar. With sharp communication skills you are comfortable with presenting your work in front of others. Fluent English is required, and Swedish is a big plus.
Examples of your work tasks:
Facilitate and drive strategic initiatives to secure future proof Operations
Govern and secure strategic fit of larger/strategic investments and stive for proactivity in long term allocation footprint planning
Process owner of Make or Buy process related to NPDs or current business
Follow up projects/CAPEX investments with factories & assess strategic fit & long-term volume alignment
Drive projects deployed on/or around operational areas such as S&OP/central planning, IT/tools, internal factories and sub suppliers/Sourcing
Cooperate and drive operational projects together with other BU's within the Husqvarna division
