Financial & Business Analysis Support - Projects - Medical Technology

As an Operations Controller, you will be a part of the Finance team with focus on the business support activities and projects with focus on Operations and Supply Chain.

You will report to the Financial Planning & Analysis manager. The position offers a very unique opportunity to be close to HemoCue's decision makers and have an influence on the directions that the company follows. The job

To be successful, you must offer qualified financial and business support to the HemoCue management. Your responsibilities, among others, will include:

Being a business partner for managers and project leaders in Operations, providing financial and business analysis support. Analysis of the financials and participation in the preparation of forecasts and actuals for Operations including interaction and sparring with responsible managers for the different departments. Assistance in preparation of the annual budget and strategic plan in cooperation with the management, as well as following up on these by measuring Key Performance Indicators and driving progress on most important projects. Review of action plans/progress of certain improvement initiatives in Operations for the purpose of prioritization, resource allocation and calculation of impact (e.g. purchase price variance, indirect spend). Monitor and facilitate normal controlling activities like: yearly inventory count, manufacturing overhead cost overview, productivity measurement, standard costing, business case calculations for capital investments, etc. Support and drive the working capital reduction, track progress and recommend improvements.
Travel activity of 5 -10 % is to be expected.

Qualifications

A Master's degree in Finance/Business Administration/Economics, or similar 3 to 6 years of experience within finance/accounting/controlling (multiple entry points possible depending on your background and characteristics, so do not hesitate to apply if you believe you will add value in this role) Experience from "Big 4" will be an asset. English is a requirement Excellent Microsoft Excel.
