Borealis is now strengthening its logistics resources by recruiting a qualified Planner to our Logistics team in Stenungsund. You will support the Operations Planner and Material Flow Planner to increase flexibility and delivery in the team. As Planner you are responsible for providing the required availability of products according market demand, asset requirements, availability prioritization and service levels at optimal cost by fine-tuning the production cycles in cooperation with the plant managers and applying appropriate planning tactics. You steer all relevant activities related to the flow of finished goods connecting operations planning, warehousing and dispatching. You are accountable for optimizing material handling asset utilisation and total cost to serve at the location as well as through the distribution network to the respective customer base.

• Material master maintenance
• Material flow forecasting

• Asset utilisation
• Supplier relationship management
• Cost optimization and development of new opportunities

Knowledge, skills and experience
• Bachelor degree in relevant educational discipline and at least five years solid experience in a commercial, business, operations or supply chain environment
• Mastery of English at business level
• Mastery of relevant IT tools (SAP, MS Excel ?advanced?)
• Good knowledge of relevant planning processes, tools and tactics
• Good knowledge of material handling practices & assets, technical plant capabilities, products and applications
• Good business acumen
• Recognised for being communicative and engaged in dialogue with relevant partners
• Ability to balance interests and find alignment with different stakeholders in the planning process
• Leadership experience
