We are now looking for a dedicated Operational Risk Officer to join Operational Risk Management for Retail Banking. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and exciting environment with high internal as well as external attention.
The position we offer
The role for this specific Operational Risk Officer position is to work as a Raising Your Concern Investigator. It includes handling a broad range of concerns raised (whistle blowing) within the Nordea Group primarily in Sweden and Finland (two positions). The majority of the matters are related to internal irregularities/crimes such as breaches of laws and internal policies and instructions. An important part of the position is to support business in preventing and handling of internal crime.
You will be part of a global team and an ambitious unit within the Group Operational Risk division striving for taking the operational risk management to the next level. The position includes collaborating with stakeholders in all layers of the Group as well cross organisational. You will be expected to handle sensitive matters with high integrity and professionalism.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Evaluate and investigate concerns raised within the Nordea Group
• Incident reporting as well as external reporting
• Give advice and challenge business in their handling of internal irregularities/crimes
• Carry out awareness training related to raising your concern/internal crime
• Take part in developing tools and enhance processes for preventing and handling of internal crime
• Threat analysis related to internal crime
• Participation in internal forums related to security
• Collaboration with the police
• Support the unit in other operational risk management activities
The qualifications you need
The successful candidate needs to have a good understanding of the business as well as being a professional operational risk manager. You have strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
The qualifications we are looking for are:

• Analytical mind-set
• Strong in communication and ability to create good relationships
• Good team working skills
• Preferable experiences from risk management
• Fluent in Swedish and English
