You will be working alongside the Transmission System Project Management team, reporting to the BA Head of the Business Unit.
The challenge
As Purchaser/Buyer for Siemens Energy Business Unit 'Transmission Systems' you will guarantee that the purchase of goods, materials and services are done in accordance with the defined guidelines to ensure that Siemens operational needs are met while taking into account the price, quality, and delivery to ensure continuity of supply running the purchase order with a set supplier base.
We are looking for an Operational Purchaser for the Siemens Energy Business Unit 'Transmission Systems' working on our Project purchase. The role includes managing and coordinating the operational procurement work. You will mainly work with external purchasing for our projects but also from internal Siemens Energy suppliers. In the role you will strive to achieve continuous improvement and increase efficiency which include secure purchased capacity, secure correct information in purchasing systems and follow-up on results and deviations.
Who are you?
You have preferable 2-6 years' experience of purchasing and have an educational background within this field of expertise. You have advanced PC & system skills (Excel and SAP preferred) and are fluent in English and Swedish. As a person, you are analytical, accurate, service-oriented, and enjoy many contacts. You have a structured way of working and enjoy handling multiple tasks/projects in parallel.
