The new role in the Procurement wind team is to support and work closely with the Supply Chain unit in Business Unit Wind Generation with primary focus on the Nordic region. The main objective for the Supply Chain function is to identify synergies, streamline processes, reduce administration and create prerequisites for optimizing our procurement activities that will lead to lower O&M cost.
Your responsibilities as Operational Procurement Manager
The Operational Procurement Manager will be a key resource in the new set-up, being responsible for vendor/supplier relations, develop and manage short, mid and long-term contracts for Wind Generation. Commercially responsible to ensure that terms and conditions are accurate and reflect the requirements for market intelligence and the point of contact to the supply chain market
Main responsibilities & work tasks:
• Point of contact to suppliers
• Commercially responsible for contract terms and conditions
• Market intelligence, evaluate and qualify new suppliers
• Issue request for quotations, clarify, evaluate quotations and negotiate with suppliers
• Develop and sign contracts/agreements, monitor and manage the signed contracts
• Managing purchase orders and Supplier database in SAP and other IT systems
• Claim management and warranty handling
The details of the work tasks will be evaluated and possibly adjusted during the roll-out of the new Supply chain function.
Your qualifications as Operational Procurement Manager
Our best candidate have an academic degree in economy, engineering or similar and several years of experience in purchasing/procurement processes, evaluation, negotiation and contract management. This position requires a commercial mindset and knowledge of contractual standard terms and conditions for goods and services, legislation and rules in Sweden and Denmark.
As a person you need to be driven, flexible and pragmatic. You also need to be able to grasp the whole picture in order to tie together the loose ends. We need a dedicated person who is willing to take on operational tasks and who can commercially contribute with input and best practice, in order to form a cost efficient operational model. This role requires courage to implement changes while at the same time not losing focus on business needs and technical demands that are basis for Supplier selection. We are looking for a hands-on, service minded relationship builder and team player with good communication skills and business focus.
Location Flexible location - Solna in Sweden or Esbjerg in Denmark.
