Michelin is now seeking to recruit an Operational Manager to our business segment Michelin Solutions. Reporting to the Commercial Director, your mission will be to monitor the implementation of Michelin solutions? contracts for the Nordic customers, including respect of contractual commitments and monitoring of Service Providers. You will manage a Nordic team of 9 Fleet Operators, based in Sweden, Finland and Denmark. For this position, we prefer if you are living close to our Distribution center in Kungälv, where most of the staff working for Michelin Solution is based. You could also be living close to our Nordic headoffice in Stockholm.

Your mission will be to manage and develop you team of fleet operators, this work will include;

• Organizing the activities of the team
• Set up objectives and appraise performance
• Issue operational procedures and guarantee correct implementation of work method
• Define training needs (continuous improvement) for your team
• Control application of contractual commitments
• Guarantee application of safety rules

You will also have an operational focus, where you contribute to the annual budget and and monitor costs and contract profitability. In addition, you work with the supply of tires to our customers by issue needs and forecast operations in each country, as well as monitoring the retread flow and guarantee correct implementation of casings banks.

This work includes travels to the Nordic Countries and, depending on where you are based, to our Nordic head office in Stockholm or the Distribution Center in Kungälv. Some trips to the Group head Quarters in Clermont-Ferrand, France may also occur. The position entitles you to a leasing car.

We are looking for a person with technical knowledge and experience from the transport, fleet or leasing industry. You should have experience from managing a team, either as a direct manager or team leader. We prefer if you have a bachelor or master degree within business or finance. Our corporate language is English which we need you to master.

As a person, we think you have great people skills and a drive to coach and develop you staff. You are also structured and analytical, and know how to sell a solution, not just a product. You should be an experienced user of Microsoft Office and especially Excel.
