OPERATIONAL MANAGER

OPM is responsible for the supervision of both SuperVisor and TeamLeader in such a way that the operational and administrative process is carried out in a structured and efficient way, in terms of workload and staffing.
Ensuring the physical operational process for goods in/out and the use of resources linked to this. Organizing work, instruct all the employees in the warehouse. Monitor all activities. Ensure proper operation av administrative documents on all orders/deliveries. Ensuring that the agreed KPIs are met by allocating recourses and by giving clear instructions and make sure that they are followed.

Lead, motivate and instruct SV and TL.
Promote a stable and efficient team management and administration.
Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
Initiates and drives improvements in production/ administration.
Responsible for the continuity and quality assurance in the daily operations.
Final responsibility for compliance with all internal management decisions.
Ensure optimum level of quality of services and processes are maintained and initiate/implement corrective actions.
Contact with our customer to maintain and optimize operations.
Understanding the financial and commercial aspects of customer contracts. The questions are run by KAM.
Active participation in management-, business- and other meetings.

Responsibility:
Ensure a safety and good working environment/ergonomics for all employees.
Ensure that confidentiality clauses are followed.
Compliance and enforcement of the requirements of internal instructions and ISO.
Along with KAM decide in the overall operation of the resp. customer.
Have regular contact with the Dept. of planning of the business.
Encourage preventive actions before problems arise in the operational and administrative processes.
Monitoring progress of the actions taken.
Analyze, improve operations.
Monitoring/ recording of holidays, vacation, absence and overtime.
Review the allocation of resources and workplace safety.
Develop and monitor goals.
Educate and support the line manager and employees.
Where required, a replacement for our colleagues.

Powers:
Agree on all processes within legal framework, safety and welfare. To the extent that they are consistent with customer contracts.
Handling and ensure the total flow (CPI and bearing).
Delegate and take care of the daily management of the business.
Reporting/recording deviations to management.
Ensure consistent and accurate operation.
Maintain close and constructive relations (internal/external) customers.

Qualifications:
4-5 years experience as a store manager or similar.
University or equal higher education in logistics.
Forklift driver?s license.
2-4 year?s experience in similar work field.
Knowledge of administrative processes.
Systematic and analytical thinking
Mastering the English language in both speaking and writing.
Experience with Microsoft programs and any WMS systems.
