What's in it for you?
Working with Testing Technology means that you establish and develop relationships with test engineers within almost all system areas of the vehicle as well as building an understanding of the technology within those areas. Our team provide metrology expertise, lending of instrumentation, design and service of development tools for testing departments. Within department Electronic prototyping and HIL solutions (Hardware in the loop) our responsibility is to develop and manufacturing electrical solutions and ensure that our customers are equipped with right tools and supported by our high metrological expertise. We are also experts in HIL solutions enabling cutting edge development methods.

What you'll do
As operational HIL support you will build and maintain a wide personal network within R&D, support our customers in a way that makes HIL usage effective and successful. In the daily work you keep HIL 's running and based on needs you will handle both troubleshoot as well as repair our equipment.
Together with our HIL engineers you can form your deliveries and to develop your own skills. Being a part of our team will give you access to long term development opportunities in a dynamic and continuously growing field, where you have a strong direct influence on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, you will both propose solutions as well as bring support to define needs connected to the future of Volvo Cars plans in the growing area of HIL, working closely with our customers who are experienced engineers.
Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you have a bachelor's in electrical engineering, electric mechanics, or a similar education. Furthermore, you have a good understanding for and knowledge in IT tools, you are fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken and hold a driver 's license B.
Other skills that meritorious for the role:
* Experience of HIL, both HW and SW and/or HIL build
* Knowledge in INCA and/or Canalyzer and/or dSpace HW
* Work experience from Automotive industry
