Job Description

Operational Excellence is the backbone of our dynamic logistics team. It's all about standardizing how we work, simplifying processes, and constantly improving.
As an Operational Excellence Lead, you will review relevant functional areas and provide support to the Logistics Regions in improving processes based on the global operational practices and tech standards. You will make sure that implemented Roll-Outs are handed over to our regions with stability and clarity and where realizations are met.
Main responsibilities:
Act as a main counterpart for Logistics Regions on operational and tech related questions for the functional area.
Streamlining and continuously improving operations within current operational and technical standards to make sure we are moving towards a leaner operation.
Support Logistics Regions in understanding and finding solutions on how to best follow global and operational tech standards, also gathering, and ensuring actions on identified challenges and opportunities in following standards.
Provide an overview of operational recurring issues and interim work- arounds for the relevant functional area, also providing support in developing mitigation plans and give input to future improvements.
Connect and support Logistics Regions on operational best practices and standards, encouraging knowledge sharing on common operational opportunities, problems and solutions.
Lead continuous improvement process and forums together with Value Stream and other key Logistics stakeholders, gathering improvement ideas and opportunities from Logistics Regions and others, evaluating feasibility of ideas and requests and ensuring overall prioritization.
Responsible for follow-up tech and operational performance after roll-out finalization and hand-over, providing input to relevant Logistics teams on actual value realization and operational impact.
Follow-up and ensure actions and progress of potential rest list and remaining open points not solved at project finalization and hand-over, together with Logistics.

Qualifications

Strong expertise within logistics, including operational processes and standards, also providing excellent knowledge of best practices as well as functional and technical implementations.
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate and engage global, regional and local team members and warehouse associates.
Strong knowledge of effective training, including learning and development methods as well as ability to understand digital product development from ideation to release.
Skilled in setting priorities by analyzing impact both from a business and tech perspective.
Experience from working with and leading continuous improvement projects or initiatives.
Ability to plan, prioritize and delegate high numbers of tasks with varying workload and importance.
Strong ability to contribute to solving complex functional problems within the logistics area.
Strong ability to clearly express the connections between larger business goals and small backlog items for team members.
Strong communication skills including internal and external stakeholder engagement.
Strong analytical abilities to effectively communicate complex issues in a clear and simplified manner to diverse stakeholders

This is a full-time permanent assignment, based at the head-office in Marievik/Liljeholmen in Stockholm and you will report to Per Moller - Roll-Out & Operational Excellence Manager
