Our Procurement team consists of seven colleagues and a manager, handling all procurement for the Stena Line Group. We work together to create value for the company in close collaboration with key stakeholders in the different regions. Now we're looking for a new colleague to join our team.
What will you do?
As Operational Buyer you will have one of the most important roles in our day-to-day delivery. It will be your responsibility to execute operational purchasing to support stakeholders. You will also be part of strategic sourcing projects and support the implementation in the organisation. You will work closely with your colleagues and support the organisation where needed. Implementation of contracts, agreements, new processes and promotion of operational efficiency will be part of your daily work. You will also participate in and develop standardised P2P processes. This role has a focus on the technical procurement to our vessel operations and as part of this role there is also a responsibility in our vessel management system AMOS where you will manage procurement for a certain number of designated vessels.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Perform procurement according to defined strategies and frameworks
• Participate as required in global and regional strategic sourcing projects
• Work in close collaboration with Procurement team members, as well as end users, to ensure local acceptance and implementation of sourcing strategy. Actively participate in the implementation of new contract
• Track key performance indicators on supplier and internal stakeholder contract compliance; define and take corrective actions to improve contracts compliance.
• Support the implementation of new consumption policies
• Collect and analyze information on performance and contract compliance and report to management
• Drive procurement initiatives

The must-haves:
• Sc in Engineering, Business or Finance
• Minimum five years of experience from procurement in at least a middle sized organisation
• Experience in sourcing and working with external suppliers
• A genuine interest in- and experience of marine technology
• Great computer and system skills
• Great analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
