The title of the position has various designations, Operation Manager, Project manager, Head of ASC (Advanced Service Center) but the main role is obvious. We are seeking for a candidate that has a strong interest in digitalization and can help Siemens to reach further in to the future. To find the right candidate is a whole new chapter for us but we strongly believe that you have the impact to lead us in to the technology.
Our headline today is that we are making divisional history, but before we reach our goal, I will introduce myself. My name is Peter Hallberg and I 'm in charge of the whole Building Technologies (BT). Together with my 652 colleges we wake up every morning with the ambition to create a better and safer place through the efficiency of how our customers use their buildings and how much energy is consumed. This can be through products that help you regulate the heat of your house or the security passage of your office. Siemens also extend for multimillion projects with our customers in large building complexes, such as automations delivery of the new Karolinska hospital in Stockholm County - Solna.
The Communication Department calls us #FutureMakers but, as BT 's governor, I would take it even further and say we are Everyday Heroes. It sounds little like a cliché, I know, but imagine it yourself; For each customer who chooses to follow on our journey and review their own energy consumption, we have managed to do something of the environment and the future generation.
Role Description:
To describe a complex role in simplicity I would say: The customer's installation of our products and solutions require a presence in terms of service and maintenance, resulting in more than 35,000 customers visiting per year. Today, our technicians usually visit our clients at the time of notification or when the need arises, regardless of the customer distance and size of the problem. We now want to change, simplify and digitize the way to achieve an even higher level of service to our customers as well as a more efficient way of working for our employers. By connecting our systems and analyze the data that we get it can be efficient, fast-moving and a proactive partner to our customers. In this role you will build and develop a Northern European team (most of them located in Sweden) which will push the digital change together with you. Your main endorsement and support player will be BT 's Swedish management team (where you have an obvious place) as well as a major international Siemens network.
Who are you?
• Although we have a clear picture of what we want, the road is not always visible. In other words, you will need to, during countless meetings at different levels, network to reach the best solutions and working methods. Therefore, your personality is and drives a key part for your success.
• Your leadership style is something that you've developed for at least a couple of years. You are a little Danish (clear, straight, goal oriented), a little Swedish (team-oriented, responsive, humble) and a little German (persistent, structured, foresight). That is, multi-cult, just like your colleagues.
• You will change the traditional way of working and therefore you need to be safe and experienced in running large, complex and international change projects.
• You are a true entrepreneur but also an incurable risk analyst. Therefore, you may not be able to start something completely self-sufficient, but the projects you are running comes from heart and soul. Speaking of...
• ... this role will be able to keep you busy both day and night if you wish. But we value your health and you will be with us for the long run. Therefore, it's important that you have interests, people and / or projects privately that you prioritize as high as good results at work. We also see that you are both fluent in Swedish and English.
