We currently have the following job opening;
Operation Manager - Powertrain Integration
As an Operation Manager within Powertrain area you will support Vice President with operational and administrative tasks. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of Powertrain and be part of developing activities to provide sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Management of parallel projects
• Support Powertrain Management (Vice President and Module Team Directors) to keep timing for different projects incl. tracking of deliverables
Support in the preparation of status reports
• Collect and aggregate information for the Powertrain Management team to ensure timely decisions and to ensure that the VP and the MTDs keep the overview of all projects
• Management of Vice President area
• Keep overview, plan and track of resource and budget planning of VP area
• Coordination of China-Sweden visits and the ISEs
• In absence of Vice President running of internal meetings
• Organisation of meetings
• Support Strategy work
• Participate in formulating the powertrain strategy reflected in the cycle plan
• Support the Powertrain strategy responsible as well as the product planning organization in their strategy work by performing case studies, collecting information, etc
• Lead Powertrain weekly Design review meeting, including driving project deliveries related to this agenda
Requirements
• M.Sc. engineering
• Minimun 5 years experience of Engineering and technical expertise
• An outstanding talent to solve technical challenges
• Management capabilities and people management skills
• Creativity to identify efficiency opportunities
• Group spirit rather than locally minded
• Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions
• Potential to become a leader mid-term
• Cultural sensitivity, especially Asian - European culture
• Ability to lead and take decisions in a changing environment
