hela Sverige We are helping our client, a well-established global company within sustainable producing materials, to find a consultant to strengthen their controller team. We are aiming to fill this position as soon as possible to enable a start preferably within a couple of weeks. The duration of the assignment is until the end of the year, with an opportunity for further extension. This is a consulting assignment through Wise Professionals and a full-time position. The office is located in Gothenburg.
About the position
The Controller is part of the Liner Services team. You will work tight with another controller and your main responsibilities will be:
Perform Financial Analysis and monthly reports.
Produce and analyze monthly volume reports.
Calculation of income and cost accruals for the month end closing.
Provide input and analysis for financial forecasts.
Supervise and assist in the weekly invoicing process for miscellaneous invoicing.
Produce an accurate budget for the next coming year.
Budget process, calculations, monthly and quarterly follow-up and related reporting.
Consolidation of accounting from external operations.
Develop and maintain correct shipping tariffs for the different routes offered.
Assisting management with profitability and investment calculations.
Motivate and create a dynamic and flexible work environment focusing on transparency, precision and accuracy
About you
In order to succeed in this role, you have Collage/University degree in relevant area (engineering/technical or economics/finance). Preferrably you also have working experience as a Controller or equivalent. If you have experience within Logistics this is meritious. However the main criteria here is that you have the ambition and the analytical skills required to become a good controller!
As a person, you are a Routine user of Excel and if you have experience from SAP it is meritorious. You are a Team player with stamina & desire for high performing team. You have strong change management skills when implementing new systems and processes. Excelling in process and administration related tasks, with key focus on efficiency (throughput) and quality (errorless). Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish are required. You are also Proactive, result oriented, willing to take initiative and responsible. The position requires some travelling.
