About the position
The position as Buyer is a consulting assignment that starts when needed. You will be working for a successful car company based in Gothenburg. They are a leading company in the automotive industry with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
Your daily tasks
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for delivering and implementing purchasing strategies that align with the company's future technology and concept needs. You will own and manage the supplier base, ensuring that the client collaborates with financially healthy and capable suppliers who support sustainability efforts. Key tasks include planning and executing supplier selections in close collaboration with the category team and stakeholders, ensuring timely completion of contracts, and securing that all purchasing requirements are met for program milestones. Additionally, you will drive suppliers and internal teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while continuously optimizing the supply base and managing associated risks.

Qualifications:
Bachelors ' degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience from a relevant Purchasing role
Experience from supplier management and contractual topics and are used to drive fact-based negotiations/discussions
Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
Contract type and hours
