Stena Line is one of the world's largest ferry companies with a modern fleet of 35 vessels and Europe's most comprehensive route network consisting of 17 ferry routes in Scandinavia and around the UK. By constantly developing its products and services, Stena Line has achieved a strong position with significant market shares on all its market sectors.
To meet our customers' needs, online sales channels are already core for Stena Line. But, in order to continuously improve, we are strengthening our Scandinavian organization. As part of this process we are looking to recruit an Online Conversion Strategist.
What you will do
By using site analytics, customer behaviour and insight,  A/B / MVT-testing, etc, you'll continuously improve online conversion for the business and maximise opportunities to convert and improve ROI.
You'll be working closely together with our local webmasters and online marketers in order to optimize our websites from a sales perspective. You'll develop online conversion plans and define the development road map for online conversion projects.
You'll play a key role in different online development projects, and you'll have a kick-start as we are in the planning phases of a major redesign project.
What we expect from you
You have a great passion for the online world and its continual evolution. You have deep understanding how to optimize the customers' on site experience and the purchasing funnels in order to maximise conversions and improve ROI.
You have a wealth of knowledge in online customer conversion with proven practical experience, preferable within the travel or retail sector.
You know site analytics tools by heart, but even more important is that you can interpret your analysis into site improvements.
You need strong analyzing-, influencing- and communication skills together with a sales focus.
You thrive on a challenge and your creativity plays an important role in developing new ideas and solutions.
You are fluent in English and in one or more Scandinavian languages. Experience in SEM/SEO is positive since this in the future could be managed by this position.

The position is placed at Stena Line's head office in Göteborg, Sweden, but you will work within our Travel Sales Scandinavia organization which is responsible for sales activities in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany and Poland.  You'll report to our Group Online Manager.
