The Online Communications Specialist’s primary role is to plan and implement changes and updates to the Sony Ericsson Developer World portal, plan, write, coordinate and publish the monthly Developer World news (via homepage, RSS feeds and e-newsletter) and coordinate out-reach activities for Sony Ericsson Developer World (SEDW) with other online programs and/or channels.
Responsibility
The Sony Ericsson Developer Program Online Communications Specialist has the responsibility to:
o Be the editor of content for SE Developer World in a number of different channels:
o The SEDW web portal (all English sections apart from Forum)
o The SEDW monthly newsletter
o The SEDW RSS feeds
Which means:
o write all new web texts, news articles, new phone information and online messages to a high standard of American English.
o publish all new pages, news articles, phone pages and other new texts
o maintain and update all existing pages
o publish all texts using Content Management System (CMS)
o Interact with the SEDW portal provider on a daily/weekly basis
o Coordinate distribution of e-mail communications from SEDW the developer community.
o Coordinate SEDW-related information flows with partner and customers on their online channels.
Authorities
o Handle the SEDW monthly newsletter.
o Monitor and gather feedback on Developer World on-line activities.
o Interface with the SEDW portal provider on a daily/weekly basis to further the SEDW portal evolvement and resolve page content related issues.

o Developer related articles published on SEDW portal and RSS feed, and follow-up statistics.
o Monthly SEDW newsletters to the developer community as well as follow-up statistics.
o Promotions and offers on SEDW portal.
o All publications and page updates on SEDW portal except Forums and Chinese-language section.
o News input for partner newsletters.
Organization
The Online Communications Specialist is part of the global C&S Communications Team and reports to the Head of the Sony Ericsson Content & Services Communications and is based in Lund.
