Klarna is looking for a Online Business Analyst to the head office in Stockholm.
Working tasks
As Online Business Analyst you will be part of the Risk & Credit department, which has the overall assignment to optimize the amount of transactions we can accept at an acceptable level of risk. This means that the department is at the very core of the business and is continuously facing the challenge to increase customer value without too much credit risk. The team consists of about 12 dedicated and passionate analyst and product developers with background in everything from finance to statistics and engineering. The extreme level of growth (>100% p.a.) will require new colleagues to fast accept big responsibilities and lead projects with high impact on our business. Often work streams ranges from the identification of a need or idea of improvement, all the way beyond implementation with help from our skilled developers/programmers. Key elements of the role will be quantitative and qualitative analysis, project management, process design, conceptualizing solutions for our business system and credit analysis. There are no normal weeks and you will get the opportunity to see most parts of the business, not only the credit operations. You will work closely with the other scorecard developers, risk analysts, department manager and related departments such as controlling, IT and Sales.
Requirements
A qualified candidate should have a recent academic degree with quantitative elements, corresponding to training in finance/economics/business or engineering. A successful candidate will most likely have strong track record in terms of both academia and extra curricular merits.
Ability to make a complex problem understandable and solvable is important, as well as learning IT and new technical environment fast. Experience from e-commerce, credit products or any entrepreneurial experiences are considered to be a strong merit.
Your are fluent in English and feel comfortable using it as your working language. Knowledge in any other major European language is a plus. You have a very good knowledge in MS Office, especially in Excel. Being native German, Dutch, Finnish, Danish or Norwegian is also regarded as a plus.
You are expected to be able to work independently as well as highly collaborative depending on what the situation and project requires. A successful candidate have a good business sense that can serve as guide in prioritizing what is best in a specific situation. You are a structured problem solver with strong analytical skills, and colleagues and friends know you as a committed person with drive and energy.
