The position is based in Solna, Sweden.

Role responsibilities
Ensure the delivery of On Board Signalling designs (HW, SW, functional and configuration design, interface control, production check, Signalling circuits including cable core plans, bonding diagrams, power supply), system requirements and architecture in accordance with Customer requirements, industry and company standards and processes
Ensure the delivery of On Board Signalling design document in compliance with industry standards for rolling stock applications (e.g. EN50155, EN50121-3-2 , EN50125-1, EN61373, EN45545-2, UIC 505-01) and with company processes and standard solutions.
Ensure the definition of the layout and proper installation of equipment, according product's requirements and constrains
Ensure the review of On Board Signalling design requirements allocation and gap analysis and demonstrate the compliance of configuration design documents by the traceability
Ensure the definition and review of On Board Configuration requirements allocation and gap analysis and demonstrate the compliance of configuration design documents by the traceability
Participate in technical reviews to detect design errors, process and tool inefficiencies, and ensure the implementation of corrective and improvement actions
Ensure the execution of the Verification activities on issued documents, according to the V&V Plan
Guarantee the functional analysis of Validation feedback and site tests
Coordinate with integration leads and sales managers throughout the BID phases to analyse client requirements and define installation interfaces and drawings;
Work with the vehicle partner during the BID definition process in order to update the design;
Understand the Engineering Installation needs in order to include them in the design development
Prepare standard installation drawings, developing plan layout, sectional detailed drawings for installing the technical equipment;
Consult with the subsystems WPLs, PE and PM through completion of drafting to ensure design expectations are met;
Establish and meet timelines and deadlines supporting the project during all the phases

Education / Qualifications
Master's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in signaling design preferably on ERTMS/ETCS or STM
Very good knowledge of Autocad Electric or Zuken E3
