This position is located at Öhlins Racing headquarters in Upplands Väsby, but entails international travel.
ArbetsuppgifterYou and your team are responsible for the global purchasing process deliverables during the development of new technology components, sub-systems or systems. This to transform a set of requirements or an engineering concept into a product intended design starting from a supplier statement of work. You will also support the execution of the global purchasing management process for advanced engineering projects.
You will also....
• Collaborate with the Engineering and cross-functional teams to identify new technology and new product development
supplier needs
• Lead Technology Assessments at potential development partners
• Support the development of components, sub-systems or systems with a qualified supply base including:
- The creation of the SOW
- The support optimized sourcing solutions through feasibility assessments, both from a technology-supplier match as
system perspective
- The support review and follow-up of the Design Validation Plan
- The follow-up on timely and cost optimum delivery of different levels of prototypes
ProfilWe are looking for a problem solver with strong technical expertise. You have a deep knowledge of electronic components and systems as well as of electromechanical components. You have the ability to analyze and process highly complex technology. Your ability to build bridges across departments and companies is crucial.
You need a passion for the automotive industry, personal drive and determination, backed up by a positive attitude. You are committed and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You are detailed, organized and good at record keeping. For this position you also need to be self-managed, disciplined, have good people skills and the ability to work independently and without close supervision.
Advanced computer user skills are required, and you are fluent in Swedish and English, other languages are an asset. Knowledge and experience of dFMEA, DFSS, APQP and PPAP is also an asset.
