Exceptional Customer Service and Communication skills: Help and support the team to advise customers on the phone and per email about our range of offers
Organizational: Requesting and booking of tours and services, creation of invoices, preparation of travel documents, handing out of rental bikes and execution of welcome briefings for our international guests that arrive in Stockholm, guiding of sightseeing tours every now and then
Professional, flexible and solution-oriented: Our seasonal business requires to work also on weekends
Being a Team-Player but also being able to act independently: One of the best parts of this job is the people you work with, but they must be also able to rely on you to get the job done right and to have fun doing it. However, you will be given own projects too where you should feel comfortable to act independently.
Foreign languages: Besides English, you should be fluent in German. Speaking Swedish too is a plus.
Driving license: You should be able to drive a van, every now and then incl. bike trailer (training will be provided)
Great bike riding experience: You should love to cycle, additionally we expect a good knowledge of Stockholm and its streets

We are looking for an Office assistant to start no later than the 2nd of May 2018 and the internship is fixed for a minimum of four months. Working in the Bike Sweden office in Stockholm offers a diversified field of responsibilities. Within your role you will spend time in front of the computer, but there will also be many opportunities to be outdoors and to meet customers from all over the world. Bike Sweden was founded in 2009 as bike rental. First, it was little more than a one man operation, but over the years it has quickly grown to an operation with a summer peak of over 15 staff.
Shortly after, the portfolio was extended with guided sightseeing tours. The offer ranged from public tours with daily start options to private, tailor-made tours in multiple languages. Two years later the portfolio was extended again - with self-guided bike tours in and around Stockholm. Additionally a large offer for bike tours to Europe was added.
In 2016, Bike Sweden was purchased by Eurofun Touristik, Europe's largest cycle-tourism company, with operations in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and France. In addition, Bike Sweden added the Kattegat route to its portfolio, Sweden's first national bike path. Today, the company focuses on a diversified offer for cycling holidays in Scandinavia and Europe and guided sightseeing tours through Stockholm.
