The Industrial Business Unit, Service Market Operations is now searching for additional colleagues in our Global Key Account Management team. The Global KAM team with sub teams consisting of technical support and commercial development roles jointly facing the OEMs has a key part in the service market relationship with our largest global customers, both operationally and strategically. You will work with OEMs in some of our most prioritized sub segments such as Construction, Forestry and Agricultural, Mining or Power Generation.

You will always work in close collaboration with our teams in the globally distributed market units as well as other neighboring central functions. In the greater team within IBU Service Market Operations you will join competent and committed colleagues working with warranty and business partner support, technical support, and product quality management. Volvo Penta knows the importance of building strong and close relation with our customers, as we believe this is the key to success. One important part of this relation is the focus on our OEM's Volvo Penta product technical support and service business set up and management.
As an OEM Technical Support KAM, you will sustain a solid relationship with the OEMs technical support contacts and stakeholders and be in the frontline of our customer relationship as the go-to node between the OEM, Volvo Penta market units and central functions for product technical support and quality matters, product technical competence development and business follow up and development in these areas.
In addition to relevant technical competence, the successful candidate for this position needs to have an established business acumen and the ability to work and thrive in an international multi-cultural environment where drive, situational adaptation with customer focus and collaboration and networking are key factors.
Who are you, do we have a match?
As your background and characteristics, you probably also recognize yourself in:
Technical education, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Good knowledge of combustion engine and transmission engineering, skills in electrotechnology and/or electromechanics is an additional advantage
Able to use qualified IT system for analyses and reporting
Good knowledge of technical English and can handle general conversation well
Action minded, fast paced with passion for customer success
Strong networking skills, always eager to learn more and in return a knowledge sharer
Comfortable with individual work as well as cross-functional team tasks
