In your function as Logistics Responsible and Sales Support for the Original Equipment supply to Volvo and Saab you will be expected to ensure stock availability in order to meet the customer requirements. You will also be responsible for flagging any supply opportunities and risks as well as looking for solutions to minimize impact of any risks.
Job includes both operative tasks (delivery planning, unloading scheduling, delivery follow-up) and forecasting /reporting activities (logistics forecast, requirements analysis).
As Sales Support you will also take care of the invoicing and related issues as well as will play a key role in the sales forecasting activities supporting/reporting the OE Sales Director, including rolling sales forecast and sales budget.
You will also be the main point of contact regarding supply and invoicing with the customers as well as with the logistics providers, our suppliers and the central functions in our headquarter in Milan.
Your background:
The right candidate needs to have a strong drive, be proactive towards issues and opportunities, and have the ability to build relationships and think and act across function and along processes. The candidate should also be flexible, able to handle several issues at the same time, independent.
Fluent English and advanced skills in Excel is a must. Ideally you also speak Italian and are familiar with SAP/R3.
University degree (Economics/Logistics area) and/or experience in similar role are a merit.
