hela Sverige On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a freight forwarder with experiece in sea freight. This a a direct recruitment, which means that you will be employed directly by our client.
Our client is a small logistics company that specializes in transports from Northern Europe to Africa. The company is working from a nice office on Marieholmsgatan in Gothenburg.
Work description
You will work with the handling of containers that are shipped by sea from the customers in Northern Europe to different ports in Africa. You will work with cost follow-up, freight billing, customs handling, negotiation with suppliers, handling of quotation requests and pricing. You will have daily contact with customers and various freight and trucking companies.
You are involved in and will develop both business in relation to the customer, but also participate and develop the daily operational work to find new effective solutions around routines and arrangements.
Your profile
We are looking for a person with experience in seafreight that knows what is required to offer customers competitive traffic solutions.
• You have a strong ability to find solutions, take initiative and independently push your tasks forward.
• You are goal- and result-oriented and a good administrator
• You are driven and want to develop new business opertunities and relationships.
• The role requires good collaboration skills as it involves many external contacts.
• You have very good communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Computer skills with good knowledge of MS Office and adaptation to new systems
