As Nordic OHS Manager you will take on a key management role to ensure that employees and the company are protected from occupational health and safety risks. With many stakeholders such as customers and third parties, your internal key interfaces will be with the Fujitsu Management & leadership team, HR, Learning & Development, Governance and Assurance.
Key responsibilities include:
To assist with the development of all Fujitsu occupational health and safety processes and procedures to ensure they are fully compliant to national legislation, regulations and standards
To ensure that Fujitsu EMEIA Occupational Health and Safety objectives are supported and implemented within the region
To ensure a good knowledge of all current, relevant regional labour legislation and codes of practice, whilst keeping up to date with new legislation and any developments.
To work with all Fujitsu departments to ensure suitable and sufficient support and guidance on all occupational health and safety topics is maintained
To ensure risk assessments are up to date and reviewed
Planning practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, for the continuing promotion of health and safety in all working practices
Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and where appropriate escalated
Oversee incident investigations, provide active support following any significant incident or near miss, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action handling
Supporting to ensure EMEIA and in-country occupational health and safety workers programs for managers and employees are effectively identified and implemented

In addition, we see that you have the following qualifications:
Experience in management of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental issues
Experience of developing a safety culture in a diverse operational environment
Experience of carrying out compliance inspections and auditing
Excellent interpersonal skills in communication, presentation, motivation, negotiation and arbitration
Good understanding of environmental issues and regulations
Fluent in English, additional Nordic language is desirable but not a must (Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian or Danish)
Ability to frequently travel within the Nordics as overnight stays will be required
