Job Summary
We are now recruiting an Obsolescence Expert to strengthen our Support Team for the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Components team.
Within Tetra Pak's organisation the OEM Components team is within the Processing Channel Management & Key Component department which belongs to Processing Solutions & Equipment.
The OEM Components team is responsible for our global product portfolio of OEM components such as pumps, valves, measuring instruments, electrical & automation, and integration components. The portfolio thus includes components purchased from selected suppliers. We drive the continuous improvement of the OEM portfolio to ensure competitiveness and to support business strategies whilst complying to Tetra Pak standards and legal requirements.
The position is permanent and based in Lund, Sweden and may include some travelling.
What you will do
In this role, you will have the responsibility to secure obsolescence and Life Cycle Data management according to processes, regulations, and best practice. You will work in close cooperation with our engineering stakeholders, supply managers, suppliers, and competence partners. You will drive and participate in internal and cross-organizational projects.
You will focus on
As our new colleague, you will be responsible for:
Support internal and external stakeholders in obsolescence management
Drive competence area and the support at OEM Components Obsolescence team
Secure that Tetra Pak Corporate Standards, Guidelines, and processes are up to date
Participate and drive internal projects and improvement activities
Together with supplier management secure the quality and regular information on Life Cycle Data
Drive the discussion, monitor and follow up in Last Time Buy and Bridge Buy decisions
Participate and drive internal and external competence- and stakeholder networks
Develop and continuously improve processes, procedures, standards, and tools within area of responsibility.

Your strong communication skills combined with your interpersonal capabilities enable you to easily interact across borders (both internally and externally with our suppliers and partners). Furthermore, you can adjust to the situation and comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
You probably have an engineering degree combined with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. As you will work in an international environment, it is important that you have a good command of English, both written and oral.
