Swedbank is looking for an Observability Architect with proven record on full-stack observability/monitoring.

• Improve frameworks of governance around architectural issues and system synchronisations

Define observability strategy and principles and maintain transparent records of observability-related architectural decisions
•
Describe and detail architecture solutions and decisions needed for the delivery of ongoing initiatives, as well as making sure the current architecture is well documented
•
Support teams by guiding and helping product owners and software engineers to align with the architecture governance and assurance
• You will oversee architecture governance of initiatives in collaboration with the domain architect
•
Lead a Community of Practice consisting of individuals who are passionate about observability
What is needed in this role:
• Demonstrated experience of designing, building, and delivering solutions and products as well as team-play in agile development environments.
•
Understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.
•
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with observability tools, such as log aggregation, tracing, and monitoring systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and familiarity with distributed systems is important.
• A solution-oriented mindset with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Active participation in cross-functional communication, a customer-centric mindset, and engagement in making others understand complex problems.
• Experience from solution architecture and governance in a complex IT environment.
• Understanding the financial goals, objectives, planning and estimations.
• A university degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent Communication skills. Proficient in verbal and written in English
Advantage if you have:
•
Knowledge of any architecture framework such as TOGAF
• Skills in architecture modelling with either UML or ArchiMate
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes
• Good knowledge and experience in using Elastic tools - Beats, Logstash, Elasticsearch, Enterprise search, Elastic agents, Kibana
• Experience of tools such as ServiceNow, Zabbix, AppDynamics, Splunk or Dynatrace
• Experience of microservice architectures running on Kubernetes and containers
