The section Propulsion OBD and Dependability has the mission to ensure that the development of the next generation engines reflects our brand essence of 'Designed Around You'. We are responsible for ensuring that all legal and costumer attributes regarding OBD and Powertrain dependability are met. Currently the section includes approximately 110 employees, organized in seven groups.
The group you are going to be part of consists of 15 dedicated engineers and is mainly working with OBD and emission pre-homologation for all markets and in all projects. The group also consists of Attribute Leaders for OBD and emissions. We are looking for you who will join the development of next generations more efficient and environmental friendly drivelines. China is a growing market and consequently we have a lot of cooperation with the China organization. Now we need to strengthen our workforce with another OBD Verification engineer.
What you'll do
As an OBD Verification Engineer you will perform OBD verification before homologation. The area of responsibility is to plan and coordinate verification activities, perform measurements in vehicle and rig, analyse, summarize and draw conclusions of the results. You will also perform legal verification of OBD functions in vehicle after start of production. You will work in an ambitious team and have a close cooperation with project managers, attribute leaders, people working in the workshops, laboratories and the homologation department. Therefore it is important with social skills and an ability to network. We offer you great development opportunities within an exciting role.

Main responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate OBD verification activities
* Perform OBD pre-homologation world-wide
* Perform legal testing in vehicles after production start
* Analyse, summarise and draw conclusions of the results
What you need to have:
* M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering, or equivalent documented experience
* Skilled engineer with experience from working with verification/calibration of OBD or driven newly-examined engineer
* Swedish driving license class B
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Good knowledge in Excel
* Ability to travel
What is nice to have:
* Knowledge in testing prerequisites for emissions and OBD worldwide
* Experience in handling tools as INCA PC, Matlab, GGD-DHA is meritorious
* Interest for/knowledge in electrical devices
