Nynas is looking for a dedicated individual in the beginning of their career who wishes to work in a -strategically focused role in a global organisation!
About the role
In your role as Supply Chain Planner you will be highly involved in the company's core business and work strategically with analysis related to crude selection, refinery processing, supply sourcing and logistics management. Through Nynas’ quality assurance process, you will work with the modeling, optimization and monitoring of our oil flows, using optimisation tools and Excel. You will also work with case studies and evaluate the economical benefits of business scenarios
As the role is integral to the wider business, you will work in close cooperation with the sales and production team, who are dependent on your knowledge and ability to develop relevant, accurate and updated data. As a Supply Chain Planner you will be part of a supply planning team consisting of 3 people, and you will report to the Global Planning Manager.
Your main responsibilities:
Strategic planning, optimisation and analysis of activities related to Nynas' supply chain operations.
Modeling, analysis and communication of the Nynas Groups’ Oil Flow Plan(OFP).
Presentations at executive level
Undertaking of projects and driving of case studies to evaluate the economic benefits of business scenarios and investment cases.
Usage and development of logistical optimisation tools (such as GRTMPS) and other valuation models.
Maintaining close contact with a wide range of colleagues on an international level, and with the many parts of Nynas that are affected by the Supply Chain activities.
Following up and analysing of key figures.
Qualifications
You have a MSC in the field of logistics, economics or engineering.
You have 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
Good knowledge of Excel is beneficial.
Very good knowledge of English and a basic knowledge of Swedish are also required.
Personal characteristics
We expect you to have an aptitude for working with, and solving, complex analytical problems. You are curious, resourcefulandable to communicateyour work in aconsultativemanner.
