The group Powertrain Performance for Buses and Coaches is responsible for the properties NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness), Energy Consumption and Driveability as well as NVH testing for legal demands and interior noise.
Your tasks
You will handle the testing, analyses and reporting connected to NVH and you will also own the documentation for it. Practical work is needed with close cooperation with the workshop and the mechanics as well as designers and other testing teams. You will be a part of the whole process from developing and testing concepts to doing the final certification of the vehicles of tomorrow. Close cooperation with all our cross functions as well as legal authorities are vital to secure a product worthy of the Scania brand.
Your profile
• You have a relevant academic degree or equivalent experience in the area of NVH
• You have 2-5 years of experience with NVH testing
• You are structured, customer oriented with good communication skills, proactive, take initiative and ownership, and have the drive to keep improving our work
• You feel comfortable presenting your results for management groups to make the right choices in the projects
• You can communicate fluently in English, both written and speaking
