Do you want to join the Simulation and Analysis Department as a part of our world wide R&D Organization developing products to the automotive industry using front line technologies?
We are looking for an NVH Simulation Engineer to our creative R&D team.

Kongsberg Automotive AB in Mullsjö is part of the Kongsberg Automotive group. The product development within Kongsberg Automotive is exposed to global competition, with high demands on our performance. As an NVH Simualation Engineer you will be part of a creative team of approximately 150 engineers working with mechanics and electronics world wide. Our objective is to be in the global frontline of our product ranges. In our designs we use a great deal of advanced injection-moulded plastic parts, in combination with steel and other materials. Electronics and mechatronics have also an increasing impact on our designs. Having global customers and suppliers means agreat portion of international contacts.
You will be a part of the Analysis & Simulation Department as a specialist within Noise, Vibration and Harshness were you shall drive solutions and take responsibility to solve noise and vibration related problems. You shall contribute to decrease the development time and cost, implement your solutions into the products and compare the effect of design changes, continuously through the process of product design and validation.
We are looking for applicants who
• are experienced in working in projects, taking great personal responsibility and have a good ability to collaborate and communicate.
• in addition to a solid theoretical knowledge also show applied skills in technology.
• have the ability to work in a structured and independent way taking full responsibility of method development to secure and create technical advancement.
• are committed to your tasks and have high focus and interest to combine theory and practice into product solutions.
• have a solution driven approach and a positive attitude.
Experience preferably from the automotive industry within dynamic fatigue, sound quality, structural analysis, vibration and acoustic measurements along with signal analysis is desired. Experience from plastic components and knowledge of polymer materials are also qualifying.
Good knowledge of Swedish is preferred, and knowledge of other languages such as German, French, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean is also valued.
